Mubkhara Collection
The Mubkhara Collection is a carefully refined exploration of how industrial architecture can inspire intimate ritual. Drawn from the monumental forms of Al Wakrah's water treatment facilities, the design translates the geometric strength and sculptural presence of Qatar's coastal infrastructure into four thoughtfully proportioned vessels for burning incense. Each piece—small, medium, large, and extra large—combines glass and travertine to create a dialogue between transparency and weight, clarity and substance. Rather than simply referencing architectural form, this refined iteration considers how scale and materiality shift the experience of ritual across different spaces and moments: from solitary meditation to communal gathering. The collection asks: how do we translate industrial poetry into the quiet acts of everyday life? Together, glass and stone invite smoke and fragrance to rise, transforming the burning of incense into a sculptural ceremony that honors both place and practice.
